Engineering Education

The Engineering Education Research Area Group is focused on researching and developing evidence-based teaching and learning practices within the classroom, labs, makerspaces, and beyond. It comprises faculty deeply engaged in implementing innovative techniques that foster inclusivity (belonging, identity), engagement, and retention. RAG members have advised/supervised undergraduate and graduate thesis students on research projects at the intersection of Mechanical Engineering and Engineering Education.
